We are all familiar with the term Divine Feminine.  In the circles I travel in, we may even feel ‘beaten over the head’ with it.  Why is it still so elusive and ‘out there’?  Why do we even need any more discussions on this topic?

Because, we are just now re-birthing this awareness in a World Cultural way.  And lest we forget (again) how important this is to our very survival, we run the risk of ignoring the other half of ourselves. The half whose absence has created the global mess we are in. Most indigenous groups work with both the masculine and feminine in bringing balance to their lives and it is also why (generally) they are healthier and happier.  Want happiness?  Embracing your feminine side will remind you all you have to do is receive.  Our Feminine nature receives, intuits, embraces, is inclusive of all, dreams, and is lunar, black, directionally West, circular, the Mystery and more.

In this, all day, workshop we will re-learn how to incorporate our Feminine nature into our everyday lives.  We can change the world best by changing ourselves. Through heartbeat drumming, Susan will lead you  to shamanically journey to the Goddess Quan Yin to receive a dose of compassion where we might otherwise be bereft. We will also explore Joan of Arc, St. Teresa of Avila, Egyptian  Isis,  Iroquois Creator Sky Woman, Snake Goddess, the Japanese Goddess Amaseratu and of course, Mary Magdalene.  We will invoke the help of the Goddess above all else.

I am now awake.  I am amused I was more concerned about the time needed to create this mail then that I had stepped into a past life.  Dreams remind us of who we are and who we have been.

Our sleep dreams are where its at; not our consensual understanding of what may be important for a’ full life’ understood  in a modern Western context.  Our Souls and our Dreams are much messier than that.

Which leads me to this past couple of weeks.  A few people are dreaming Big Soul dreams.  How do we recognize them?  They are reminding us of times long ago when we incurred trauma.  They come knocking on our consciousness requesting politely ( initially, and if we choose to ignore them they come back with more emotion and maybe even as a nightmare) that we bring healing to a past hurt that we shoved off to the side.  The timing is perfect for healing when these dreams come through.  It is Soul Retrieval in a perfectly timed way.

I have worked with people who, even after years of therapy and counseling, have unwittingly evaded the parts that hurt the most.  We can escape only so long before our Dreams bring them back.  The Sleep Dreams.  We can bring immense and deep healing to our lives when we can brave up and learn how to understand these dreams and the enormous gifts they bring to our life.

In this way Dreams and wishes of the Heart are woven together.  We can consciously heal and bring together our fragmented parts.  This is a Soul task and one that requires our Heart and not our brains.  Dreams are our vehicle for this!

In a windy kind of way, I had a similar conundrum with knowing and seeing in my own life this morning.  I awake to my dog bounding through the house ( though I know I put her in her crate last night) and my chickens were out of their coup, though I know I had left them in all day yesterday because it work pouring rain all day.  I know what I did and yet I saw something else and I have no explanation.  Silly Life!

My first inclination is to run right over and help, irrelevant of the money.  I normally do not promote my ability to do this most sacred work, and just leave it to chance, so to speak , that someone come to me for this help.  But~ the problem is this, I also see so much profound Soul loss as of late,  that I am inspired to help as I can.  I recommend remembering your dreams as the first and best place to retrieve more of your Self, and I will happily teach anyone how to do this for the price of a song.

A couple of years back I was happily traveling the CA coastline, when I heard over the news that a man in Norway went on a killing spree.  I was stunned.  Norway? Nothing bad happens there.  The man who did this looked like a healthy, pleasant fellow.  All my wires on the logical side of my brain burned out.  I saw no logic or even a thread of logic, which lead me to one conclusion and this is it:

We need to take the absolute best of us to spend time with the absolute worst of us.

I dont believe in the death penalty.  All moral reasons aside, it is uneffective.  We kill an injured Soul for them to reincarnate again, with possibly even more issues.  So~ I believe we should incarcerate them, ( for our own protection) and have a human ( the holiest of us,  someone with enough self awareness of the magnificence a human being can be) to spend perhaps an hour or two with them once a week.  They do not need to talk or preach ( that would be ineffective since that would be a logical thing to do and this is beyond all logical applications), but rather just sit.  Maybe read to themselves or even do their grocery list; it wouldnt matter much. The sheer vibration would be enough to incremently shift the energy of the Soul less one.  It may take years before any noticeable change would take place, or maybe a few weeks.  Either way, we can be assured we are making progress toward a positive direction instead of leaving a Soul to fester upon itself and others.  I suspect that there is a balance of the worst of us and the best of us, just as the curious phenomenon of an equal number of highly intelligent people and not so intelligent people.  The majority of us falling in the widest band of average intelligence.  The chart is rather like a diamond actually.

I request that the ‘best of the best’ come forward now to help in the healing and fragmentation of humanity.

One, many years back, was in a dream in which a Bear positioned like the one in this photo, moved under a thin sheet of ice deep in a winter forest.  In a moment he was birthed and chased me home.  After a three day vigil at my door, he exclaimed, ” I will never leave you Susan!  I am your friend forever.”  Thus started my intensive training in the Dreamtime and Healing.

Four years ago I had a dream of a Bear curled in my kitchen sleeping soundly.  When I cried out in the dream, ” Why are you here?  Do I need another healing?”  His response was, ” Dont worry.  Your path is being redirected to a more suitable one.”  I was happy with the one I had at the time though.  Within ten weeks, my course changed and, amongst other changes, I started working entirely for myself  teaching Dreamwork as fast and furious as I could. ( both dreams are described in greater detail in my book; The Power of Dreams)

So I am given this sweet Door Guardian last week, and as I walk back from my barn carrying him in my arms, I look down and realize he is not a porcupine but a Bear! I stop for a moment in my tracks.  Is this a good thing?  It always felt scarey in my dreams and yet worked out in beautiful unforseen ways in my waking life.  I will hold that optimism as I place him as the guardian of my home.  A Bear in my waking life/dream coming to clear my path.

We’ll learn and practice basic skills of divination. As dreamers, we’ll go beyond traditional card reading and hand-me-down attributions. We’ll journey, with shamanic drumming, using Tarot images as doorways to hidden realms. We’ll travel on Tarot paths on the Tree of Life that can take us to places of discovery and initiation on the inner planes. We’ll follow the play of Tarot images in our dreams, and get a second opinion on certain dreams from Tarot. We’ll perform Tarot theatre, speaking and embodying the powers and elements evoked by the cards, or the powers and elements they evoke. We’ll use Tarot spreads and Tarot journeys to create original stories. We’ll learn the art of Tarot journaling, and how to check our readings against subsequent events and the weave of synchronicity in the larger world. You will be invited to design and draw or paint three personal Tarot cards by the end of the workshop.

Preparation: No extensive familiarity with Tarot is required, but if you are new to Tarot you’ll want to get ready by acquiring a deck and drawing a daily card. Before you look up what it is supposed to mean in the book or booklet that comes with the deck, sit with the card for a while and see what you feel and notice. Then do your reading, and pay attention to what happens later that day, and check whether the card alerted you to anything that was developing.

What to bring:You need to bring either the Rider-Waite or the Thoth deck. You may also bring a deck that is a personal favorite, or a new one for experiment with “fresh eyes”. You will also need a notebook you can use as your Tarot Journal and your own basic art supplies.
